Join Sue once a month on Saturdays for an intermediate level in-person workshop. These sessions will have a good balance of strength and flexibility, along with the more subtle practices of self-awareness, breath and meditation, and a few restorative poses at the end. It does make a difference to have eyes on you in three dimensions, in addition to the pleasure of practicing with others. I cap the attendance to 10 people, so everyone gets personal attention.

Please bring your own yoga props: mat, strap, block, blanket.

I will continue to video the first 75 minutes for those who wish to practice at home online, using their regular class package. And, if you prefer to pay via check, just send me an email and I'll let you know where to send it.

November Self-Care Sunday - Online + Video

Roll, Release, Realign & Regain Freedom
Sunday, November 19, 2023
1:00 - 2:30 pm
$45 - ONLINE WORKSHOP (includes a video to download and keep)
Since myofascial release work is usually done at home, I'm offering this helpful roll-out session online, with a video to go with it so you can use it again as many times as you'd like.

In addition to a full body session of tennis ball myofascial release, we will do some targeted stretches to open traditionally tight areas, some gentle stability work for the major joints, and some neuromuscular brain-to-body re-training.

For this workshop, you will need a tennis ball, a sticky mat, a chair or bench to sit on, and an available wall.

If you cannot make the time of the workshop, no worries. Everyone who signs up for the workshop will receive a video of the session to you to use again and again.

If you prefer to pay by check, just send me an email and I'll give you the address.

CAVAET: If you have osteoporosis, are hypermobile, or are generally sensitive, I wouldn't recommend this workshop. The work will potentially be too deep, especially around the ribs and spine. If you have tight, denser tissue, it's going to be perfect.

Feedback from clients.

Blending a deep awareness of movement, anatomy and physiology, Sue draws on her extensive studies in dance, yoga, Pilates and Hanna Somatics to teach from a place of open-hearted focus!  Her instructions include modifications so each participant can tailor their experience to their own history and needs. I leave her highly effective sessions with greater mobility, strength, ease and awareness. She’s a joy to work with!  --JL

"While I wish that we could still roam about freely to attend Sue's classes in person, attending her classes online has been great! ZOOM is an easy, no fuss app to access and use. Since Sue limits the number of people in each class she is still able to observe us and provides individual feedback as needed in order to ensure that we are getting the most out of each move and to avoid injury.  Thank you, Sue!"  -JR
