Client Feedback: "I’m giving thanks for the joy and privilege of having you as my teacher. You are kind, and you bring expertise, laughter and acceptance to your classes. You welcome each of us to change our bodies and lives. I so admire your knowledge, generosity, and open heart." —Pat B.
My yoga classes strike a balance between flowing vinyasa movements and the longer holds of traditional hatha yoga. Designed to build strength and stamina in body and mind, yoga classes typically include sun salutes, standing poses, balance work, backbends, inversions, twists and forward bends. I strive to balance the active with the reflective, strength with grace and flexibility, and to work your whole body each class. I always offer modifications based on injury or other limitations, and I encourage you to have fun with your yoga practice, to honor your body and work at your own pace.
reformer: stretch & tone
This fun, high energy class blends the excellent strength and condition that we come to expect from the reformer and spring tower, with some extra stretches to increase flexibility. The class begins with a gentle warm-up that promotes healthy joint mobility, and moves on to some good core strengthening. We will have a great reformer and tower based workout, with some interesting and unusual variations for challenge and variety. Class will finish with stretches on the reformer. You’ll leave this class feeling physically challenged, yet opened, grounded, & centered.
