Wellness Vacation at Wailea Inn

I am very excited to be going back to the beautiful and luxurious Wailea Inn in Kihei, Maui during Valentine's Week.

We will have fun, energizing practices with yoga, pilates and related practices twice each day. But it won’t start too early because early morning on Maui is prime outdoor time. You'll be able to snorkel, swim, run, walk, or simply have a leisurely morning before practice. The week includes two themed practices for Valentine’s Day and two special meals to celebrate our connections with each other.

Wailea Inn has two practice spaces, one indoors and one outdoors. Depending on what Covid is doing, we will decide on where the practices will take place once we’re there. If you enjoy sunsets, exceptionally nice people, taking care of your health and well-being, and being near a warm ocean, this is the retreat for you.

The retreat begins on Saturday, February 10, 2024 for a short chi gong practice at sunset, followed by a beautifully prepared dinner. Our personal chef specializes in yoga retreats, so we know we're in for a healthy and delicious week. We will having morning and afternoon practices daily until Friday (check out day). Even though there is lots of practice time, there is also ample down time to do whatever makes you happy. As always, I like my retreats to have a relaxed, vacation-y vibe, so feel free to bring adult beverages if you are inclined. One of my students described the experience this way: "the yoga is deep, the mood, light."

Accommodations are double occupancy only. We will be staying in the Lele Penthouse (12 people) and Ohana Hale (4 people). Check out Wailea Inn's website for a full description.

4:00 pm - Check in, tour grounds, pupu's
5:45 pm - Meet at Lele Penthouse front steps, then sunset chi gong practice at nearby Kalama Park
6:45 pm - Dinner

Sunday through Thursday - February 11-16

8:30 am - Breakfast on your own
10:00-12:15 pm - Active Yoga & Pilates practice
12:15 pm - Lunch
4:00-5:00 pm - Gentle practice: somatics, stretching, restorative, breath awareness, meditation.

6:45 pm - Dinner

$3000 double occupancy—paid in three installments*

Fees include 6 nights lodging, 11 vegetarian meals, and 12 hours of class instruction. Accommodations are available on a first come, first served basis. To sign up, simply email me with your interest, and let me know if you have or need a roommate.

* Installment Payment Deadlines:
        $1000 by February 28, 2023
        $1000 by July 30, 2023
        $1000 by November 30, 2023

$400 of your payment is non-refundable. Cancellations made 3 months or less from the start of the retreat are fully non-refundable.

All participants are required to be vaccinated and boosted for Covid-19.
